Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms govern your use of KidsGigs (kidsgigs.app), a family chore and pocket-money application operated by Webnostix, the trading name of Leon Duffus, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 to create a KidsGigs account.
- Child profiles may only be created by a parent or legal guardian within their own family account, and remain under that adult’s control at all times.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when signing up.
2. The free beta and subscriptions
- KidsGigs is currently in beta: new families get 90 days free, with no credit card required. We will never charge you during the free period.
- After the beta, continued use requires a paid subscription. Prices are shown on our pricing page before you pay, and payments are processed securely by Stripe.
- You can cancel at any time; your subscription then runs to the end of the paid period. Statutory cancellation and refund rights under UK consumer law are unaffected.
3. Pocket money is between you and your family
KidsGigs tracks chores and pocket-money amounts as a family ledger. We do not hold, transfer, or pay out money — settling pocket money with your children happens outside the app, however your family chooses. KidsGigs is an organisational and educational tool, not a bank, e-money service, or investment product, and nothing in the app is financial advice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
- attempt to access other families’ data or probe, disrupt, or overload our systems;
- upload malicious code or content that is abusive, obscene, or infringes others’ rights;
- resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.
5. Your content and data
Your family’s data belongs to you. You grant us only the licence needed to store and process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time, which deletes your family’s data as described there.
6. Service availability and changes
KidsGigs is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it available and bug-free, but as a beta product we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change, be added, or be removed as the product evolves. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses. If you have not paid us anything (free beta), our liability is limited to £50.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections of the law of the country you live in.
